WARRANTY
AME models are designed to provide hundreds of hours of trouble free
Running, however, as with all mechanical and/or electronic items, things
do on occasion fail to live up to expectations. With this in mind and also
the confidence we have in our products we provide the 12 month
warranty as outlined below.
1. This warranty commences on the day you take possession of your
Purchase
2. The warranty covers the body, wheels, bogies, axles, motors, controller
Relay board, horn/s and led’s fitted by AME.
3. EXCLUSIONS: LED’s not fitted by AME re not included in this warranty.
4. Accidental damage, misuse, scrapes and scratches are not covered by
the warranty
5. Any attempts to modify or repair any part without written consent of
AME will render this warranty nul and void.
6. Customer is responsible for all costs and carriage of models to and from
AME.
7. Kits are sold on the understanding that AME is not responsible for any
items wrongly assembled or if kits are not assembled as per any
instructions supplied.
8. This warranty is subject to “Fair wear and tear”. You have spent a great
deal of of your hard earned cash on your model, treat it with respect,
never transport it without adequate protection from damage, a great
deal of damage can be can be caused by a heavy object moving around.
9. Never open the controller to full power when starting from a standstill,
This may damage the controller and prematurely burn out the motors
which could affect the warranty, always move off like a real loco, nice
and slowly, steadily increasing your speed, always use the electronic
braking gently.
Be careful with your hand controller, the lead is quite long and can easily get caught up in your loco wheels
You should never attempt to move or lift a large loco on
your own, always have somebody to help you
