We had a lot of enquires from customers to produce a working & useable MK l passenger coach.
The first public appearance was at the Harrogate show in May 2011 & was greatly received by
potential customers.
After testing for stability, handling & comfort with great success we decided to put the MK l`s into
production.
All our coaches are what we call stand-off scale they are the correct scale length, height & width
As with all our coaches, they have been designed for passenger carrying in comfort.

All are available with window layouts such as:
First class

If there is something else you require, just ask.
As with all our coaches, if used as passenger carrying they come with raised ends for safety
(about 1 inch 25mm), in order that the child on the front has something to hold on to and the
adult at the rear can feel the end of the coach.
If used as a driving/driving passenger coach we remove some of the curved roof & put in a
2 inch thick padded seat for the driver.
(The leading end of the coach is flush with the roof for the driver.)
All coaches come with full length detachable running boards
The coach sides are vinyl wrapped the same as our teak and Mk lll coaches
We use high quality vinyl for the print & then we cover the print with a non reflective clear vinyl
to protect it.
This is very hard wearing as in testing our MK lll coaches we carried over 3,000 passengers
without a mark or scratch.
The roof is wrapped in leatherette with a 6mm webbing underneath
The roof itself is removable for storage inside the carriage
Our MK l coaches have pre-stressed internal chassis spires for added strength.
Double sprung bogies for comfort & stability
Due to the way we manufacture these coaches they are only available as ready to run.
The Pullman body is available as an alternative.
