These precision bogies have been specially designed by us (the design has been registered by AME) to fit a range of rolling stock and are the preferred bogie for our own range of rolling stock
A great deal of planning and testing has gone into this design to ensure quality, strength, ease of assembly, longevity and especially value for money
We believe that they are the best bogie available for the price

They are extremely strong and will perform heavy duty tasks
The frames are manufactured from 6mm laser cut steel
The whole assembly is inter-locked in place by the crossplates and 2 crossbars
All bolt holes are pre-threaded, there is no drilling or tapping required
Very few components to assemble
The axles are 16mm overall
The wheels are heavy duty
The bearings are sealed ball race and free running
The pivot is a 12mm steel pin
Total weight of each bogie is 4 Kg (9lb)
Standard kits supplied with nylon support blocks (bearing upgrade optional extra)
Brakes are available for Bogies and can be fitted to finished sets or supplied with kits
KITS
All bogies are supplied unpainted, with all bolts, springs and bearings in flat pack and each takes around 10 to 15 minutes to assemble after painting.
There are no hidden "extras" with these bogies

FINISHED BOGIES
Assembled bogies are finished in black and apart from fitting the pivot, which is not screwed in for safety reasons in transit, they are completely ready for use.
