All sounds from start up to shut down are produced from a large speaker and amplifier, all controlled by the ‘Super Sound’ system.

(Super Sound System – Not only do you get superb digital sound files to replicate engine start up and shut down and the running with the sound synchronised to the speed/revs. This unit also has horns, compressor sounds, brake squeal even the guard’s whistle. However, this unit also allows you to control your loco with a replica of a full size-driving desk. Features include engine start/shutdown button, forward/reverse selector and a power handle, which has the safety, interlock features found on a standard BR loco. Deadmans facility and key-switch make this sound and control unit a great addition to any battery/electric loco.)
